Bobcat Soccer Complex Background | Naming Opportunities The newest addition to Texas State intercollegiate athletics is women's soccer. The Bobcats stormed on the scene in their inaugural season of soccer competition as they captured the Southland Conference Tournament championship (1999). As part of Texas State's comprehensive athletic facility upgrade, the soccer complex has received the following renovations since its opening: expansion of permanent seating for spectators, concession stands, restroom facilities, and an on-site storage area.
