Gift Information

Payment Information
The Bobcat Club accepts the following methods of payments: checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit cards. A new payment method has been established for the 2008-2009 campaign, automatic checking account withdrawal. When filling out your membership form for 08-09 be sure to check off this method, fill in how much you pledge to give between now and April, and attach a voided check. Remember, the amount withdrawn each month will be determined by the closing date of the Bobcat Club fiscal year, April 30,2008. It's that easy. For those members making a pledge and choosing to send payments in at your own schedule half payment must be received by August 1, 2008 to receive your Bobcat Club benefits.

If you choose to give to both the Bobcat Club and a program's enrichment fund account then your payments will be applied to your Bobcat Club membership first, with subsequent payments applied to the program's enrichment fund account. Please note that your Bobcat Club membership and program's enrichment fund giving must be paid in full by April 30, 2009.

Matching Gifts
Many companies will match donations (excluding tickets) given by their employees to colleges and universities. Contact your human resources office to see if you can increase your gift to Texas State. If you have any questions, please contact our office.

Endowment Gifts
The Bobcat Club has its own endowment with a principal balance of over $150,000. Donations may be added to this endowment or you may establish your own endowment to benefit Bobcat Athletics. To learn more about endowment details, please contact the Bobcat Club.

Planned Gift
The Bobcat Club features a planned giving program, with specific consultation from a full-time Texas State University staff member. A planned gift enables contributors to name Bobcat Athletics as the beneficiary of special planned gifts, including cash, securities, property, life insurance and charitable remainder trusts. Contact the Bobcat Club Office for more information.

Gift In Kind
For some supporters, it may be easier to provide goods and services, rather than cash. Items such as hotel rooms, meals, printing, office equipment, courtesy cars, and related services are valued for the savings they bring to the overall athletic program.
