2007: Scored points for the Bobcats in both the pole vault and heptathlon at the Southland Conference Indoor Championships ... in addition to competing in the first events of the heptathlon on Day One of the championship, placed fifth in the pole vault with a mark of 4.90 meters (16-00.75) ... the following day, competed in the pole vault again as well as the 60 meter hurdles and the 1000 meter run as part of the heptathlon ... scored 4,854 points to place fourth in the event ... opened the indoor season with a third-place finish in the pole vault at Houston's Leonard Hilton Memorial ... had a mark of 4.75 meters in the season opener ... turned his attention to the heptathlon at the Houston Invitational and placed fourth, scoring a collegiate best 4,896 points ... point tally at Houston is third best in school history.
2006: In first outdoor meet as a Texas State athlete, posted a second place finish in the pole vault at the Bobcat Open ... cleared 4.90 meters (16-00.75) ... placed second in the pole vault at the UTSA Relays with a vault of 16 feet ... also competed in the long jump at UTSA, placing fourth with a mark of 6.35 meters (20-10) ... qualified for the NCAA Regionals with a vault of 16-06.75 to win the event at Angelo State's David Noble Relays ... placed 14th at the NCAA Midwest Regionals with a season-best vault of 5.06 meters (16-07.25).
