2007 Indoors: Named the Southland Conference's Indoor Track and Field Outstanding Field Performer ... swept the throwing events at the SLC Indoors ... set a new conference record in winning the weight throw with a mark of 18.67 meters (61-03) ... came up big on his final throw as he headed into the final round with a mark of 17.96 meters ... the following day posted another first-place finish with a throw of 17.23 meters (56-06.50) in the shot put ... began his sophomore season by winning the shot put event at Houston's Leonard Hilton Invitational with a mark of 16.70 meters ... registered a couple top-three performances at the Houston Invitational, placing second in the shot put (16.96 meters) and third in the weight throw (17.81 meters) ... placed 16th in the shot put at the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark., with a throw of 16.17 meters.

2006: All-Southland Conference in first indoor season, placing second in the weight throw with a mark of 17.73 meters (58-2) ... first qualified for the NCAA Regionals in the hammer throw at the Texas Invitatioanl with a mark of 58.68 meters (192-06) ... after the school-record mark in Austin, was named the Southland Conference's Track Athlete of the Week ... the following week qualified for the NCAA Regionals in a second event, placed third in the discus with a throw of 52.54 meters (172-04) to place third at the Victor Lopez/Rice Bayou Classic ... posted a third-place finish in the men's hammer and finished fifth in the discus at the Texas Twilight meet ... captured the Southland Conference championship in the hammer throw with a distance of 54.21 meters (177-10) ... also scored points for the Bobcats at the SLC meet with a sixth-place finish in the shot put (16.04 meters) ... earned another All-SLC honor by placing third in the discus at the conference meet with a throw of 51.66 meters ... placed sixth in the discus at the NCAA Midwest Regional in Austin with a mark of 56.13 meters (184-02).
