SAN MARCOS - Texas State has moved up to 11th place in the South Central Women's Cross Country Regional rankings.

Arkansas remains the top-ranked team in the region followed by Rice and Baylor.

Texas State has been ranked anywhere from 11th to 14th most of the season. The Bobcat women are coming off a fourth-place finish at last week's Southland Conference Championship. Katya Kostetskaya was Texas State's leading finisher at the conference meet, placing 20th.

The NCAA Regional Cross Country championship is slated for next Saturday in Fayetteville, Ark.
