2006: Had been a key contributor as both a freshman and sophomore but stepped out of the shadows and into a starting role as a junior ... started all 11 games for the Bobcats ... registered 31 total tackles as a junior - 9 solo stops and 22 assists ... had two tackles for lost yards and forced a fumble during the year ... assisted on tackles for lost yards in each of the Bobcats' first two games before having a solo stop for lost yardage against Northern Colorado ... tackle for loss against UNC was one of five stops in the game ... had four tackles the following week and recovered a fumble at Southern Utah ... recovery just outside Southern Utah's red zone set up a first-quarter scoring drive in which the Bobcats tied the game, 7-7 ... had a season-high six tackles in Texas State's win over Texas Southern ... forced a third-quarter fumble which led to a quick Texas State touchdown to put the Bobcats up 34-7 ... closed out the season with a four-tackle game in a Southland Conference road win at Sam Houston State.
2005: Had 30 total tackles during his sophomore season, including a total of seven stops in the Bobcats' three NCAA playoff games ... ranked 11th in total tackles on the Texas State squad ... had two fumble recoveries including one against Texas A&M where he bulled his way for a 31-yard gain ... also had a quarterback sack in the Bobcats' road win at Southeastern Louisiana ... equaled a career-high six tackles in the Bobcats' win over Oklahoma Panhandle State ... the following week had three stops against Northwestern State ... one of his two assisted tackles in the Bobcats' playoff win over Georgia Southern came in the fourth quarter with Texas State trailing 35-30 ... stopped GSU quarterback Jayson Foster for a two-yard gain and forced a third-and-five situation ... Texas State would take possession soon after and score the go-ahead touchdown ... had four tackles in the Bobcats' playoff loss to Northern Iowa, including a solo stop for a two-yard loss.
2004: Registered 14 total tackles, including two for losses as a true freshman ... had eight solo stops and six assists during the year ... had a solo tackle in his first collegiate game against Angelo State ... nine of his 14 total tackles came in Southland Conference play ... registered a season-high four tackles in the Bobcats' road win at McNeese State which snapped a 17-game Texas State road losing streak ... also forced a first-quarter fumble which led to the Bobcats' first touchdown of the game ... had two tackles the following week at Northwestern State ... recorded three tackles, including a solo stop for a two-yard loss in the Bobcats' win against Nicholls State ... had an assisted tackle for lost yards in Texas State's season finale at Sam Houston State.
