Turned heads last fall as a true freshman when he played the running back position for the Bobcats' scout team offense ... may be one of the most athletic players among the running back corps ... has raw talent, is explosive and runs well in open space ... very strong player who has made strides in the weight room during the off season.
Whitewright High School: Unanimously named district's most valuable player as a senior as well as selected to the Class 2A All-State team as a running back ... was the 2A Region II Offensive Most Valuable player as well as selected the All-Texoma MVP ... ran for 1,696 yards and 18 touchdowns as a senior ... had a 12.2 yards per carry average ... also had 310 receiving yards and caught four touchdown passes ... also a return specialist who returned one punt for a touchdown and averaged 35 yards as Whitewright's punter ... high school coach was Chuck Lipsey ... member of Whitewright's Class 2A state championship mile relay team as a junior ... in addition to running track, played in the outfield for Whitewright's baseball team ... was named first-team all-district and second-team all-state.
