2005: Began the year expecting to be red-shirted his first season in the Texas State program ... injuries forced the Bobcats to pull the red-shirt from the talented rookie and he saw his first action in mid-October ... out of the gates against Southland Conference preseason favorite Northwestern State caught four passes for 38 yards ... hauled in a season-long 29-yard reception into Demon territory (to the NSU 30) ... Texas State would go on to score a touchdown on the series to take a 28-10 lead ... also had five punt returns for 19 yards in the game ... went on to catch a total of 13 passes for 102 yards during the year and was also utilized as a return specialist who accounted for 427 all purpose yards ... returned seven kicks for 122 yards and had 17 punt returns for 203 yards ... caught a season-high five passes for 33 yards against McNeese State ... had receptions of two, five and 13 yards on an early second quarter series which led to a touchdown that gave Texas State a 21-0 lead against the Cowboys ... in addition to catching a pass for a seven-yard gain against Sam Houston State, had four punt returns totaling 86 yards ... had a 36-yard punt return back to the Bearkat 20 late in the first half but Texas State would have to settle for a field goal to build a 10-0 lead ... also had pass receptions against Georgia Southern (5 yards) and UNI (13).
