Despite a heartbreaking 78-77 overtime loss to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in the SLC Tournament, the Bobcats still finished 18-12 overall and 11-5 in conference. Fox also stretched her streak of finishing at .500 or better in conference play to five years with the 11-5 SLC mark.

In 2005-06 Texas State finished 17-11 (.608), finishing with a winning percentage above .600 for the first time since 1999-00. The Bobcats also had a 9-7 conference mark, extending Fox's streak of finishing .500 or better in SLC play to four years.

The 2004-05 season marked a milestone for Fox, who grabbed her 200th career victory on Jan. 15, 2005, at Louisiana-Monroe. Last season, the Bobcats finished third in the Southland Conference at 11-5.

In the Bobcats' NCAA Tournament season, Texas State finished 14-6 in conference play, which placed third behind Stephen F. Austin and Texas-San Antonio. The Bobcats' stumbled in to the 2002-03 season with a 1-7 start, but the Fox-led Bobcats won 11 of their last 13 en route to the NCAA's First Round.

The 2002-03 season was not the first 18-win season for Fox, however, as her Bobcats went 18-11 in 1999-2000, posting a Southland Conference mark of 12-6 and finished third in the SLC standings.

Prior to her success in the coaching ranks, Fox played four seasons for ACU, garnering several honors in her time as a Wildcat. In her playing days, Fox was named GTE Second-Team Academic All-America, First-Team All-LSC, Conference MVP, All-Academic LSC and LSC Defensive Player of the Year.
