2004-05 (FRESHMAN) - Jenna appeared in all 28 games for Texas State, making three starts in her freshman season ... Avaraged 19.2 minutes, 3.3 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game ... Shot 66.7% from the foul line and 34.7% from three-point range ... Took 49 of her 78 shots from three-point land, making 17 threes on the year ... Scored a sesason-best 11 points on Dec. 12 at Texas-Pan American and also grabbed a season-best 6 rebounds in the same contest ... Went 3-for-4 from the three-point line, scoring nine points in a Jan. 20 game against Northwestern State ... Recorded five assists on three different occasions, against Tulane (Nov. 27), Nicholls State (Jan. 12) and at UL-Monroe (Jan. 15) ... Played a season-high 27 minutes at Montana State on Dec. 20.
HIGH SCHOOL - In all four years Hoffman's team finished no lower than 3rd place...Her senior year Jenna averaged 16 pts., 7.5 rebounds, and 3.4 assists...Junior year she averaged 17.4 points per game...Jenna was named the Daily Republic Co-Athlete of the Year for 2002, 2003, and 2004...She was also selected to the First-Team All-State her sophomore, junior and senior years as well the All-Conference Teams from 8th grade to her senior year...As a junior and senior, Jenna was honored as team MVP...In 2003, she was selected as Gatorade's South Dakota Player of the Year... On top of all her awards Jenna lettered in five sports at Mitchell HS; basketball, gymnastics,track, volleyball, and cross-country.
PERSONAL - Jenna Hoffman was born on April 23, 1985 to David and Coinne Hoffman in Mitchell, South Dakota...She has three older sisters and a twin, Heather(29), Kati(26), Sarah(23), and Jeana(19)... Jenna and Jeana are both basketball players with the Texas State Bobcats...Considered University of South Dakota and University of Idaho before signing with Texas State...Jenna has not decided on a major.
