Also had a career-first by scoring 12 against Texas-Permian Basin, resulting in back-to-back double-digit games in the season's opening two contests ... Found double digits four more times on the year, including 11 points and 13 rebounds at Lamar for her first-career double-double ... Pulled down a career-best 15 rebounds against Texas-Pan American, one of two double-digit rebounding performances against the Lady Broncs on the year ... Produced a season-best 85.7 percent from the field by hitting 5-of-6 shots from the floor against Texas-Permian Basin ... Chipped in four assists against UTEP in the UTPA Battle at the Border ... 2003-04 (FRESHMAN) - As a true freshman Putnam started in two of the 23 games she played in, when the Bobcats traveled to Northwestern State (1/31) and when Southeastern Louisiana (2/5) came to San Marcos... She scored a season high eight points twice during the 2003-2004 season ... First at Nicholls State (3/1) while also adding five boards ... The second in the Bobcats' very next game against Stephen F. Austin (3/5) ... Putnam averaged more playing time than any other freshman with ten minutes against all opponents and averaging 11.3 minutes per game against Conference opponents ... Also in conference play she averaged 2.3 points per game.
HIGH SCHOOL - Putnam was selected three times for the All-Regional team ... She averaged 13.1 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks as a senior ... She led her team to a 24-3 record and Class 4A State Championship her senior year as well ... Scored a game-high 21 points along with nine rebounds during her team's state championship victory over Wasilla High School ... Putnam was also nominated for the McDonald's All-Star Game in Atlanta and was a First Team 4A All-State selection.
