Kristina Troxel joins the Texas State coaching staff as a student assistant coach for the 2006 season after four seasons as a player on the Bobcat soccer team.
Troxel will assist the coaching staff in several areas both on the field and off. She will also help Megan Ramey work with the defenders. Apart from soccer, Troxel will be finishing up the last of her degree requirements for a double major in Spanish and anthropology.
As a Bobcat soccer player from 2002 to 2005, Troxel played in 68 games, earning 39 starts. She was a member of both the 2002 Southland Conference regular season champion Bobcat team as well as the 2004 Southland Conference tournament champion team that advanced to the NCAA Tournament.
