SAN MARCOS - Texas State Soccer will play out its final half of the Southland Conference schedule with two road games, facing Northwestern State on Oct. 26. and Central Arkansas on Oct. 28. and conclude league play with two home matches against McNeese State and Lamar.

The `Cats enter the road contest with a 2-2-1 SLC record, placing them 7th in Southland action. After tough losses to SFA and UTSA, the Bobcats look for a successful run of victories to close out this season and qualify for one of six spots at the Southland tournament.

During the contest, Northwestern State took just three shots against the `Jacks. The Demons are led by Southland Conference point leader Erin Hebert accumulating 26 points throughout league play, posting 10 goals and six assists.

Central Arkansas (4-2-0) shifted into 4th place this week with a 4-3 victory over Sam Houston State. Fourth ranked SLC goalie Heather Joye has led the team defensively, posting two shut-outs this season and tallying 71 saves.
