News 8 Austin Athlete Of The Week Feature On Blake

SAN MARCOS - Bobcat pitcher Ragan Blake has baffled opposing batters all season long, and News 8 Austin recognized Blake for her efforts by naming her Athlete of the Week on April 16.

Blake threw two shutouts last weekend against Stephen F. Austin and has been the only Bobcat pitcher used in the last seven games. She is 18-10 on the season with a 1.64 ERA and 179 strikeouts in 179 innings. She leads the Southland Conference in wins, ERA and strikeouts while also posting an SLC-best .194 opponents' batting average.
