Fall, 2006: Opened the fall season with three straight wins at the Scarborough Specialties Tournament in Lubbock ... won her draw at the 2006 SFASU Invitational ... helped Texas State to a 29-12 overall record at the tournament ... for the year, posted a 7-4 record ... combined with three different doubles partners to post a 6-5 record during the season.
Freshman Season: Stepped into the No. 1 singles spot as a freshman to post a 5-9 record there ... also went 1-3 in the No. 2 singles slot for a 6-12 overall record ... teamed with Lainy Chafitz for the No. 1 doubles position in 18 matches and the No. 2 position in one ... went 10-9 overall in doubles and 4-5 in the SLC ... defeated #66 SMU and #70 Houston in doubles play
Fall 2005: Had a strong initial season with the Bobcats, going 9-5 in singles play last fall ... won five straight matches over the course of the first two tournaments of the year ... also opened play in the Wilson ITA Southwest Regional with a pair of wins ... played with two doubles partners, combining to go 3-8 on the year.
Caprock High School: Four year letter winner in tennis ... played all four years at No. 1 singles ... coached by John Gonzales ... four-time district champion ... three-time regional runner up ... region champion her senior year ... four-time state qualifier ... four-time district MVP ... also a four-time all-district selection in singles and doubles ... named the Amarillo Female Tennis Player of the Year following her senior campaign.
Personal: Daughter of David, a machine supervisor, and Sharon, a loan processor ... has two sisters, Cheri and Mikayla ... majoring in political science.
