Sean Huiet begins his second season with the Bobcat volleyball program after helping guide Texas State to its fourth straight SLC Tournament appearance. He handles setters and liberos, team travel arrangements, tape exchange, scouting opponents, equipment and the Maroon and Gold Diggers club.
Prior to Texas State, Huiet spent four seasons at Bowling Green, his alma mater. He first served as a student assistant from 2000-02 before being elevated to assistant coach in 2003. The Falcons won 21 matches in each of his first two years with the program.
Huiet left BGSU to take an assistant's post at Indiana State in 2004 but returned after one season.
His additional coaching experience includes six different club teams in the Bowling Green area over a six year span. He also earned playing experience while a student at BGSU as a libero and setter for the Falcon men's club team.
He received his Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from Bowling Green in 2003.
