SAN MARCOS - Texas State volleyball will hold its seventh annual golf scamble to benefit the Bobcat volleyball program on Mar. 28 with the Jeannie Miller Memorial Tournament at the Bandit Golf Club in New Braunfels.

Cost for the golf scramble is $460 per four-man team or $115 per individual player. Texas State students receive a discount of $75 per player. The event will tee off at 1 p.m. and is open to anyone as well. Mulligans and extra putting length may also be purchased at the course.

Corporate hole sponsorships for both holes and teams are available.

Prizes will be awarded for the men's and women's longest drive as well. In addition, there will be a closest to pin competition and a $10,000 prize for hitting a hole in one. There will also be several door prizes, and dinner will be provided by Texas Roadhouse.

The tournament is part of a busy weekend of Texas State volleyball action. The Bobcats will host their annual spring tournament on Mar. 29 in the morning and afternoon before holding the annual Texas State volleyball awards banquet at 6 p.m. that will celebrate the Bobcats' SLC Tournament championship and NCAA appearance.

The registration deadline is Mar. 21. For more information, contact Texas State assistant volleyball coach Sean Huiet at 512-245-3583. A copy of the registration brochure is also available on the right-hand column of the volleyball page at txstatebobcats.com.
