SAN MARCOS - Texas State volleyball coach Karen Chisum announced the signing of Bianca Endersby to a National Letter of Intent this week, rounding out the Bobcats' 2008 recruiting class.

Endersby will be the lone newcomer from outside the Lone Star state after lettering three years at San Clemente High School in San Clemente, Calif. She joins November signees Becky Belt, Amber Calhoun and Whitney Rhoden in the incoming class.

"We are fortunate to have a student-athlete of Bianca's caliber to join the Bobcat family. She has a big upside and you should see her on the court pretty early in her career," said Chisum. "She's a very hard worker and a strong student as well and is certainly the kind of student-athlete that I want her in this program."

Endersby played middle blocker on a San Clemente team that captured league championships in 2005 and 2007. A First Team All-South Coast league selection, Endersby also played for Laguna Beach Volleyball Club.
