Conference started this week, and I am very happy to announce that we are undefeated!!

After returning home from Rhode Island, we were confident going into this week's matches. We beat UTSA at home Thursday night in four games, which was very exciting. We came out strong in the first two games, but got a little too relaxed going into game three. However, we picked it back up to win game four. It was nice to start conference off with a win! This was also the first game in the new I-35 Maroon vs. Orange Rivalry Series. We earned Texas State the first two points in the series by beating UTSA.

Our winning streak continued into Saturday's game against A&M Corpus Christi. Again, we won in four, despite the unnecessary loss in game two. Nevertheless, we played very well in the other three games, which left us 2-0 in conference!

This has been a busy part of the semester for the team. With the five-day trip to Rhode Island and the first round of tests for everybody, we've been thoroughly enjoying the day off we get each week. I had a test last week and have two more scheduled for this week. At the same time, I've been applying to the MBA program here at Texas State, where I can hopefully continue going to school so I will be eligible for my last year of volleyball. Wish me luck as I find out if I will be going to grad school in October!

Well anyway, that's pretty much it for Bobcat Volleyball. We play TCU here on Tuesday night, and then get back into conference play Saturday with UTA at home! It should definitely be another exciting week. Hope to see you all there!
